CALL FOR MAKISATU 2026
The Ministry of Education, Science and Technology (MoEST) through the Tanzania Commission for Science and Technology (COSTECH) is supporting Tanzanian innovators to develop their innovative products to reach a stage of proven products for commercialization. The support is provided by conducting the national innovation competition known as "Mashindano ya Kitaifa ya Sayansi, Teknolojia na Ubunifu (MAKISATU)".
Open Innovation
Applications are welcome from individuals, institutions, startups and informal innovators.
Technical Support
Selected projects receive practical guidance to improve prototypes and implementation quality.
Financial Support
Funding is provided for focused project activities with measurable results and impact.
Commercialization
MAKISATU aims to accelerate products toward market readiness and job creation.
